Technically, Pebble Beach is non the city in the least -- it's the corporation. A state & county assume this land to exist as a census-designated place of Del Monte Forest, which is owned by the Pebble Beach Corporation & managed as a settlement. Residents so pay homeowners' fees in lieu of city property taxes.

Pebble Beach is far-famed for its golf. A town has septet public & personal courses including Spanish Bay, Spyglass Hill, Poppy Hills, and a eponymic Pebble Beach Golf Links. A AT&T Pro-Am (formerly known as the Bing Crosby "clambake") is held here every year at the end of January.

A second renowned Pebble Beach attraction is the annual Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance auto show. It focuses in classic cars, but manufacturers keep around latterly begun introducing freshly luxury car models there. Pebble Beach has couple of businesses (except a golf courses, one gas station, and the deli) and there are no sidewalks. It's super rural in character and virtually all of the super expensive houses come hidden behind old-growth trees. These are quiet, secluded, & somewhat gloomy inside foggy atmospheric conditiin, which occurs quite ofttimes on a Peninsula generally, & particularly on text in which it meets the Pacific head-on.

A 17-Mile Drive is the main road through the Del Monte Forest.
